South Africa has a rich history of knives and knifemakers alike, many of whom are known around the world. No matter where you go in South Africa, if you ask around, you’re almost guaranteed to find a knifemaker hiding somewhere, sweating away in his workshop, grinding and sanding a uniquely handmade knife.

The various knife shows across the country provide knifemakers and knife enthusiasts the opportunity to put their work on display, make new friends, and also to buy and sell some special knives.

The aim of this website is to provide a directory of all the knife shows across South Africa, to help inform knife enthusiasts of upcoming shows.
